Are People Binging Your Podcast… or Just Sampling It?

Hi Reader!

I’m in disbelief, but… summer is basically here.

“Maycember” is in full swing over here—end-of-year parties, field day, performances, graduation events, soccer practices, games… and somehow we’re also supposed to be registering for summer camps, leagues, and classes at the same time 😅

It’s chaos.

But honestly?

I love having things to look forward to, and I really love watching my kids do cool stuff. This summer we’re adding tumbling and Jujitsu to the mix, which should be fun.

It’s busy, a little overwhelming, and I’m choosing to cherish it—because I know how fast this season goes.

Alright, let’s get into it 👇

🎧 New Episode: Becoming Bingeworthy

Yesterday’s episode of Podcasting for Financial Professionals is live—and this one’s a big one.

How do you make your podcast something people don’t just sample… but actually binge?

Most new listeners pop in for one episode, maybe two.
Very few podcasts create the kind of experience where listeners stick around, go deeper, and build real trust.

Learn what actually makes a show bingeable

and how that translates into stronger authority, deeper connection, and ultimately, better clients.

📣 Webinar: Attract Premium Clients with Your Podcast (May 20)

I’m hosting this live training again on May 20th:

"How to Use Podcasting to Attract Premium Clients"

If your podcast is “good”… but not really doing anything for your business yet—this is for you.

Even if you feel like you already know the basics, these sessions tend to spark:

  • small tweaks that make a big difference
  • reminders of what actually matters
  • and a clearer path forward

And if you want to make it even more powerful…

Invite a friend and hold each other accountable after.

📚 Book recs, please!

I’m curating a list of the best podcasting books out there—and I want your recommendations.

What’s the best one you’ve read?

Reply and send me:

  • a link
  • a photo
  • a post you’ve shared about it
  • or just the title

I’m looking for the real standouts—the ones that actually changed how you think or operate. No gatekeeping here!

This time of year always reminds me that things can feel overwhelming and meaningful at the same time.

Your calendar is full. Your attention is split.
And yet… this is these are the moments that matter.

Same goes for your podcast.

It's okay if you feel *crazed* on the surface, if your schedule is a little nuts, if you can't remember what you recorded last time...as long as there's a strategy (and a bit of fun) underneath it all.

When your show is intentional - with topics, CTAs, messaging, and guests - it starts to work with you, contributing to the business, instead of feeling like one more thing to manage.

Cheering you on this week—busy schedule and all 💛

Cheers 🥂

P.S.

If your podcast isn’t quite where you want it to be yet, that’s exactly what we fix inside the Podcast Conversion Lab™.

We align your message, structure, and strategy so your show actually supports lead generation and client growth.

PODCAST SERVICES ACADEMY YOUTUBE EVENTS Hi Reader! Here's my bold statement for the week: Most business podcasts look DIY. Sometimes, the host has no idea. 😢 While the content is great and you can FEEL their expertise in every word, the show's entire look and sound tells a different story. Poor lighting. Awkward cuts. Odd screen changes. Generic AI edits. One-sentence show notes. A YouTube channel that looks more like a storage folder of recordings than a professional media presence. None of...

PODCAST SERVICES ACADEMY YOUTUBE EVENTS Hi Reader! I’ve been thinking a lot about the difference between being “well-networked” and being genuinely useful to the people in your network. Because those are not the same thing. You can know a lot of people, attend plenty of events, collect business cards, send LinkedIn requests, and still not have much actual relationship momentum. The real value shows up when you become the person who remembers what someone is working on, shares the right...

PODCAST SERVICES ACADEMY YOUTUBE EVENTS Hi Reader! Summer mode is in full effect over here, which means our days are a mix of basketball camps, futsal, swimming, World Cup games on the TV, and the ongoing effort to convince the kids that YouTube and video games are not the only available forms of entertainment. They are also managing their summer “jobs,” caring for neighbors’ plants and pets while people are on vacation. They've taken great responsibility in funding their own cello lessons,...
